I thought you might like to see the James Garner bronze that stands on main street in Norman. Behind him is the charming old, refurbished train depot that was built in 1909, and is in full use today to board the Heartland Flyer, and to host special events.

When you live in the Sooner Nation you get used to over the top, dyed in the wool fans. This is a home not far from me and this is their entry gate. I have to admit it makes me smile everytime I pass it. The Red River Rivalry is Saturday between the # 1 OU Sooners and # 5 Texas Longhorns. Go Sooners !!!!

This is a wonderful work of art created from a large tree that had expired. It is done in the likeness of an ancestor of the family, who lives at the home.
