    That is so cute. When I was a girl we tied red ribbons in all the horses manes for Christmas Day. My dad had a mule that thought it would be funny to steal our basket...with the bows....and run from one end of the pasture to the other. It took us forever to get our basket back and to find and pick up bows.

Do you ever, on the spur of the moment hop in your vehicle and head to parts unknown ? This past Saturday my girlfriend and I did just that and headed west to Amarillo Texas. Neither of us knew what was there, and upon arriving decided "nothing" was. We looked for the old part of Amarillo, but just found the undesirable part of Amarillo. We were just about to turn around and head back home. We were hungry and a bit disappointed. We saw two policeman talking beside their vehicles so we pulled up and asked them where the "coolest " place in Amarillo was. One of them just laughed and the other looked up towards the sky with a grimace on his face. Meaning, there was no "coolest " place in Amarillo. Belle Starr's Grave

" Well behaved women rarely make history." *** Her grave as it is today *** I made the trip to Eufaula Oklahoma a couple of weeks ago for a family get together. I was going to visit the grave site of Belle Starr on this trip, but read up on the burial location before going. The site is rather run down, on private property and on a dead end road. You have to rustle up the owners and tramp through an unkempt weedy trail. The original stone has been removed or is gone from what I understand, so I decided not to go. I find this disheartening, that a well known historical figure, albeit outlaw, from the old west does not have a more revered grave site. I think the sad fact is, most of the famous people we know from that time have also been left in obscure places and have faded away, forgotten. ***Her grave as it was originally*** Belle Starr was "The Bandit Queen," associated with Jesse James and the Youngers.
