A happy ending....

In case you haven't seen it, and want to start your year off with a heart warming story, the year end issue of Sports Illustrated had an update story on Michael {yick} Vick's dogs. In the end, 47 out of 51 were saved. It details several and their new happy homes. " Sweet Jasmine " is the one shown on the cover. I love a happy ending, and my respect and gratitude goes out to those who worked so hard to save these innocent little souls. I was so happy to see this, and had to read through, blurry tear filled eyes. I love it when things actually work out the way they should. The last photo was sent to me in an email - gotta love it !

  1. I'm also glad to hear that those dogs are getting the life they deserve. I do not understand the cruelty in some people's hearts - and I hope I never do.

Thanks for stopping by my site! Hope to see you again soon!

  3. I love happy endings!

I feel for animals who are in such horrible situations because human beings have put them there! All of my animals, with the exception of one, are rescued animals which make them that much more special. Thank you so much for sharing :-)

  5. Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah ended up with a lot of these dogs and they had a great article in their magazine this month, as well. It warms my heart to see that at least some of them will have a happy ending.

  6. What a wonderful story, thank you so much. I was horrified at the news about this whole thing. I am so glad to see a positive finale. God Bless all of the people who gave these poor dog's loving homes.
